Yvonne Li is an award-winning AI and data executive with more than 20 years of experience driving enterprise transformation through advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. As Chief AI & Data Officer at Starr Insurance, she leads the development and execution of AI strategy to accelerate innovation, optimize decision-making, and unlock new business value across the organization.
Yvonne has built and scaled high-performing AI teams across Fortune 500 companies, with a track record of delivering measurable impact in areas such as personalization, digital transformation, and data-driven strategy. Prior to Starr, she served as Vice President of Enterprise AI, Data, and Decision Science at Advance Auto Parts, where she led enterprise-wide AI initiatives to drive growth, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.
Earlier in her career, Yvonne held multiple leadership roles at IBM, including Executive Director of AI/ML and Data Science, where she advanced large-scale AI systems and enterprise applications.
Recognized globally for her contributions to the field, Yvonne has been named among the Top 100 Leaders in AI, “Global Data Power Women,” and “40 Under 40 Data Leaders.” She serves on multiple advisory boards, including Luminoso Technologies, and is a frequent conference speaker and thought leader on the future of AI and data-driven organizations.
Yvonne holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Columbia University, along with advanced degrees in psychology, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and human-centered insight to her work in AI.
